How busy Britain’s 62 motorways and 937 A-roads with their own page are, which vehicles use them and how many collisions police record, section by section.

Drivers covered 343 billion vehicle miles on Great Britain’s roads in 2025. Motorways carry 21.0% of it and A-roads 44.2%. Each road page groups DfT count points into sections between junctions and sets collisions against the traffic.
