A47 collisions

Police recorded 1,247 collisions with the A47 as the first road from 2021 to 2025, 358 of them fatal or serious, including 49 fatal. That is 18.0 per 100 million vehicle miles, lower than the 31.5 for all A-roads in Great Britain. On average there were 1.4 a year for each mile of road.
