Where the data comes from
- Model figures: our analysis of DVSA’s MOT test data and DfT’s vehicle licensing statistics, and DVSA’s recall records.
- The car’s own details and MOT history: DVSA’s MOT History API and DVLA’s vehicle record, through our server, so no keys reach your browser.
- History checks, service records and values: specialist vehicle data suppliers, being set up one at a time.
We are independent and not part of DVLA or DVSA. For official services, use GOV.UK.
