Hyundai i10 fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Hyundai i10 from 2008, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2019 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 40.9 to 56.5 mpg, with CO2 of 114 to 157 g/km. On the older NEDC test (listings 2008 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 45.6 to 70.6 mpg, with CO2 of 93 to 142 g/km.

Defect
The vehicle fuel pump may have an internal malfunction which may fail over time. The malfunction indicator light MIL on the vehicle instrument cluster may illuminate when this symptom occurs and if ignored and the vehicle continues to be driven the vehicle may lose motive power.
Remedy
The affected vehicles will have the fuel pump replaced as a permanent solution
