How we use engine sizes.
Hyundai i30 fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Hyundai i30 from 2008, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2019 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its petrol, diesel, petrol hybrid and diesel hybrid versions ranges from 33.6 to 61.4 mpg, with CO2 of 118 to 191 g/km. On the older NEDC test (listings 2008 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 36.2 to 78.4 mpg, with CO2 of 94 to 178 g/km.
