Chrysler 300C fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Chrysler 300C from 2006 to 2015. On the NEDC test (listings 2006 to 2015), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 19.9 to 39.8 mpg, with CO2 of 185 to 337 g/km.

Defect
The front passenger airbag inflator (PAB) may contain propellant that could possibly degrade over a period of time. This may cause metal fragments to pass through the air bag and into the vehicle interior at high speed which may result in injury to vehicle occupants in the event of a deployment event.
Remedy
On affected vehicles replace the inflator assembly.
