Defect
On affected vehicles the cabling for the crash sensors in the door trim panel was incorrectly assigned which can delay the side airbag trigger in certain crash situations.
Remedy
Re-code the airbag control unit.

ASA6 - Check the air suspension strut on the front axle and rework if necessary

Defect
There is a possibility that a locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right was not fitted according to specifications on the affected vehicles. If this is the case the locking ring on the upper side of the respective spring strut can loosen and air can thus escape from the air spring. As a result the driving characteristics may be impaired which increases the risk of an accident.
Remedy
The locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right must be checked and reworked depending on the test result

Defect
On affected vehicles the wheel attachments using the central lock may not meet the required specifications. This can lead to damage / breakage and the possibility of wheel detachment.
Remedy
Check the correct functioning of the central lock wheel fastening system and replace if necessary.

Defect
The connecting links on the rear axle anti roll bar cannot be ensured over the life of the vehicle. This may lead to noise and an activated yellow warning light. This may impair the function which is characterised by greater understeer and increased roll behaviour.

Accelerator pedal may be installed incorrectly

Defect
On affected vehicles there is the possibility the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal module is not secured correctly due to an assembly error. The assembly error could potentially lead to a loosening of the contact of the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal and as a result throttle response may no longer be available. If this happens while driving the vehicle will decelerate to a walking pace and it can only be moved with the engine power available at idle speed.
Remedy
To prevent this from occuring correct locking of the electric plug connection of the accelerator pedal has to be checked and confirmed by a Porsche dealership.

Particle filter bracket may detach

Defect
There is a possibility the clamp between the particle filter and the front exhaust pipe is not closed fully due to an unfavourable tolerance pairing.The particle filter could become detached from the exhaust pipe when travelling over bumps for example. This can then cause exhaust gas to leak out and rattling noises. If this happens the customer will notice an exhaust smell and the pre-mentioned noise.
Remedy
Affected vehicles will be recalled so the clamp can be checked. Where necessary relevant components will be replaced.
