Every road vehicle recall DVSA lists for the Porsche Taycan since 1992: what the problem is, how it is put right, how many vehicles it covers and when they were built. Newest first.
Not every Porsche Taycan is affected. Each recall covers cars built on particular dates or with
particular VINs, which DVSA’s file does not list in full. To check a specific car, use
GOV.UK’s vehicle recall check with its registration, or ask
the manufacturer or a dealer, who can check the VIN.

ASB1 Recall campaign - Check wiring harness of the front seats and rework if necessary

Defect
For affected vehicles there is a possibility that the wiring harness for the front seats has not been installed in accordance with specifications and the harness may be damaged by seat adjustment over the lifetime of the vehicle.
Remedy
To prevent this the installation of the affected wiring harness is to be checked and if necessary reworked.

ASA6 - Check the air suspension strut on the front axle and rework if necessary

Defect
There is a possibility that a locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right was not fitted according to specifications on the affected vehicles. If this is the case the locking ring on the upper side of the respective spring strut can loosen and air can thus escape from the air spring. As a result the driving characteristics may be impaired which increases the risk of an accident.
Remedy
The locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right must be checked and reworked depending on the test result

Defect
A short circuit within the battery modules during the vehicle’s service life cannot be ruled out under certain circumstances which could lead to thermal events and later to a fire in the vehicle.
Remedy
On the affected vehicles the battery modules must be replaced and the on-board diagnostic software (BMCe control unit) will be installed.

On affected vehicles production issues may have occurred at the battery cell / module supplier. A short circuit within the battery modules leading to thermal events and fires cannot be ruled out.
Remedy

ARB3 – Checking position of rear three-point seat belt and reworking if necessary

Defect
On affected vehicles it is possible that the three-point belts of the rear seat belt system were not fitted according to the specifications. If this is the case the restraint function for passengers in the rear left and right seats is not guaranteed in the event of full braking or an accident.
Remedy
Check routing of the belt straps of the rear three-point belts and correct routing depending on the check result.

Defect
On affected vehicles brake hoses were installed on the left and right of the front axle that were designed with too small a bending radius. Over time and under certain conditions this can lead to material fatigue and a defect in the brake hose.
Remedy
Replace the front axle brake hoses.

On affected vehicles it is possible both air-spring struts on the front axle were not manufactured correctly. This can cause the retaining ring on top of the strut to dislodge and release the air in the air spring.

Defect
There is a possibility that the fabric protective hose of the wiring harness of the front seats can be damaged when adjusting the seat in the longitudinal direction and subsequently be pulled into the drive spindle of the seat adjustment.
Remedy
On affected vehicles check the wiring harness of the front seats rework with textile tape and repair if necessary.

Defect
There is a possibility that the screw connection on upper control arms of the rear axle were not installed according to specification.
Remedy
The screw connection must be replaced and installed according to the specification. In addition the chassis components must be checked for associated damage and replaced in the event of visible damage.

It is possible for the affected vehicles to display the warning message Drive control disturbed - Park vehicle safely in the instrument cluster.
Remedy
The high-voltage power electronics must be reprogrammed with corrected software.

The lower trailing arms on the right front axle may not meet specifications

Defect
There is a possibility that the right front lower trailing arms do not meet the required specifications.
Remedy
The lower trailing arm on the right front axle must be replaced on the affected vehicles.
