Nissan Leafs registered for the first time in Great Britain, by year
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Nissan Leaf from 2013, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2019 to 2026), its electric versions have an official range of 167 to 239 miles. On the older NEDC test (listings 2013 to 2018), its electric versions have an official range of 109 to 168 miles.

Defect
On affected vehicles the VIN stored in the vehicle system may not match the actual VIN of the vehicle. This may lead to a situation where a vehicle user can see information related to a different vehicle resulting in a data security breach.
Remedy
Replace the navigation display / control unit and the telematics control unit.
