On the WLTP test (listings 2019 to 2024), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 27.7 to 44.9 mpg, with CO2 of 165 to 231 g/km; plug-in hybrid versions are rated at 168.1 to 201.8 mpg (weighted). On the older NEDC test (listings 2011 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 32.5 to 67.3 mpg, with CO2 of 109 to 201 g/km.

Defect
Vehicles have experienced thermal overload which may manifest in smoke or fire that may occur underneath the rear of the vehicle where the high voltage traction battery is located. The root cause is not yet known and investigations are continuing. A vehicle thermal overload condition such as fire or smoke can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle as well as property damage.
Remedy
Vehicles will be inspected by the retailer and as required at-risk battery packs will be replaced.
