Of the privately kept cars, which are registered at home addresses, 2.5% are battery electric (2,310 cars), 10th lowest of 32 councils in Scotland. Companies keep 22.9% of the area’s battery electric cars, against 4.5% of its cars overall. There are also 160 battery electric vans.
