How we use engine sizes.
Renault Megane fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Renault Megane from 2000, when the data begins, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2021 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 33.2 to 62.8 mpg, with CO2 of 117 to 193 g/km; electric versions have an official range of 263 to 286 miles; plug-in hybrid versions are rated at 217.3 to 235.4 mpg (weighted). On the older NEDC test (listings 2000 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 32.1 to 80.7 mpg, with CO2 of 90 to 209 g/km.
