Of the 2,112 Ford Transits licensed in the UK at the end of 2025, 48.6% have an engine of 1,901cc to 2,000cc, and 44.8% have an engine of 2,101cc to 2,200cc. The share with an engine of 1,901cc to 2,000cc has grown from 6.2% in 2014 to 48.6%. Petrols made up 3.7% of those licensed in 2014 and 1.6% in 2025.

Ford Transit fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Ford Transit from 2000, when the data begins, to 2011. On the NEDC test (listings 2000 to 2011), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 25.7 to 42.8 mpg, with CO2 of 172 to 273 g/km.

Defect
On affected vehicles the B-pillar label displays the Vehicle Identification Number but the fields for mandatory vehicle weight information may be blank.
Remedy
Remove the existing label clean the area and install a new replacement displaying the correct mandatory information.
