Of the privately kept cars, which are registered at home addresses, 3.2% are battery electric (1,737 cars), the highest of 22 councils in Wales. Companies keep 19.3% of the area’s battery electric cars, against 4.4% of its cars overall. There are also 79 battery electric vans.
