Defect
The ignition switch may unintentionally change position while driving. This may result in a loss of engine power power steering assist power brake assist or disable the airbag function.
Remedy
On affected vehicles replace the ignition switch and lock cylinder

Possible loss of vehicle safety features

Defect
The Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) module may stick between the START and RUN position. This could cause an unintended change in ignition position to the OFF or ACCESSORY position due to spring back. This may cause may result in the loss of certain electrical features and/or a loss of engine power power steering assist and/or power brake booster assist.
Remedy
Replace the WIN module and Frequency Operated Button Ignition Key (FOBIK’s).

Defect
The automatic transmission may shift into or through neutral unintentionally when parked which in some circumstances could allow the vehicle to move/runaway.
Remedy
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to attach a software update to remove possibility of inadvertent shifting.

Front brake calipers could break under certain operating conditions.

Defect
It has been identified that the front brake calipers may have been incorrectly manufactured and as such could fail under certain operating conditions.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the build codes on both front brake calipers checked. Those calipers found to be within the specified build code will be replaced.

Defect
It has been established that the software programmed into the electronic brake control module (EBC) may permit a momentary delay in brake application when coasting uphill during certain conditions.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the EBC reprogrammed.
