There were 7,982 Honda Insights licensed in Great Britain at the end of March 2026, and a further 446 declared off the road (SORN). That is 15.4% fewer than the peak of 9,431 in 2014.

Honda Insight fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Honda Insight from 2000, when the data begins, to 2014. On the NEDC test (listings 2000 to 2014), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and petrol hybrid versions ranges from 61.4 to 83.1 mpg, with CO2 of 80 to 105 g/km.
