Genesis GV60s licensed in Great Britain at the end of each year
There were not enough MOT tests of Genesis GV60s in 2025 to publish reliable figures: we need at least 1,000 tests of cars aged three and over. Cars have their first MOT at three years old, so newer models appear once they reach that age. How we work out MOT figures.

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Genesis GV60 from 2022, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2022 to 2026), its electric versions have an official range of 264 to 349 miles.

Official figures from laboratory type-approval tests. VCA says they may not be achieved in
real-world driving, and should not be used to rank cars with similar figures.
Electric cars produce no exhaust CO2; range and miles per kWh are VCA’s official figures.
A version is one line in
VCA’s data (description, gearbox, engine and fuel), counted once however many years it was
listed.

Genesis GV60 safety recalls
DVSA lists 6 safety recalls for the Genesis GV60 since 1992, the first in 2022. The most recent was launched on 19 January 2026.
The vehicle windscreen upper moulding may partially detach
Launched 19 January 2026DVSA recall R/2025/464Manufacturer ref. 51D152
Defect
The vehicle windscreen upper moulding may partially detach. This may be noticeable as a rattling noise may be heard from the upper windscreen area whilst the vehicle is being driven.
Remedy
The windshield upper moulding will be replaced to rectify this issue.
A recall applies to cars built on particular dates or with particular VINs, not to every Genesis GV60. The details come from manufacturers through DVSA, which says they may be delayed or
incomplete. To check a specific car, use GOV.UK’s vehicle recall check or ask the manufacturer or a
dealer. How we match recalls to models.
