Defect
It has been identified that a check valve within the fuel evaporative control system may develop a crack from long term use. In the worst case leakage of fuel evaporative gas vapour into the vehicle interior may occur resulting in the potential of fire in the presence of an ignition source.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the subject check valve replaced.
