Motorcyclists killed and injured since 2021
In 2025, 386 motorcyclists were killed and 5,710 seriously injured on Great Britain’s roads, out of 15,447 motorcyclist casualties. Casualties are down 2.5% on 2021, and deaths up 24.5% on 2021.

68.9% of motorcyclist casualties are in urban areas, but 53.7% of those in rural areas are killed or seriously injured, against 27.1% in towns. The share killed or seriously injured is highest on 60 mph roads (60.4%).
