How many Toyota Proaces are left in Great Britain?

There were 3,425 Toyota Proaces licensed in Great Britain at the end of March 2026, and a further 53 declared off the road (SORN). That is the most on the road at any year end since 2019.

Toyota Proace engine sizes and fuel types

Of the 3,435 Toyota Proaces licensed in the UK at the end of 2025, 47.5% have an engine of 1,901cc to 2,000cc, and 21.3% have an engine of 1,401cc to 1,500cc. The share with an engine of 1,901cc to 2,000cc has fallen from 79.9% in 2019 to 47.5%. Diesels made up 100.0% of those licensed in 2019 and 68.8% in 2025.

Toyota Proace fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Toyota Proace from 2017, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2019 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its diesel versions ranges from 35.5 to 47.1 mpg, with CO2 of 168 to 209 g/km; electric versions have an official range of 205 to 214 miles. On the older NEDC test (listings 2017 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its diesel versions ranges from 53.5 to 54.3 mpg, with CO2 of 137 to 139 g/km.
