Dacia Spring MOT reliability

Dacia Spring fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Dacia Spring from 2024, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2024 to 2026), its electric versions have an official range of 133 to 168 miles.

Defect: For certain vehicles there is a risk of rupture of the steering rack when subjected to high mechanical stress which could lead to loss of control and risk of an accident. Customers are requested to immediately stop driving their vehicles.
Remedy: Replacement of the steering rack.
