Bentley Flying Spur fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Bentley Flying Spur from 2013, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2020 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 18.8 to 22.2 mpg, with CO2 of 288 to 340 g/km; plug-in hybrid versions are rated at 85.6 mpg (weighted). On the older NEDC test (listings 2013 to 2018), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 19.2 to 25.9 mpg, with CO2 of 254 to 343 g/km.

Defect
On affected vehicles the front axles may have been assembled with an incorrect drive shaft which is shorter than intended. If an incorrect front driveshaft has been fitted it may result in the hub securing nut becoming loose over time.
Remedy
Inspect the front driveshafts and replace them if required.
