Defect
The rear centre seatbelt anchor buckle may not latch properly. This is due to a manufacturing error by the supplier the buckle may fail to fully engage when the tongue is inserted. A seatbelt anchor buckle that does not latch correctly may not provide adequate occupant restraint during certain collision events increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Carry out a visual inspection of the buckle replace if faulty.
