Of the 431 Fiat Stilos licensed in the UK at the end of 2025, 39.4% have an engine of 1,301cc to 1,400cc, and 29.9% have an engine of 1,901cc to 2,000cc. The share with an engine of 1,301cc to 1,400cc has grown from 24.5% in 2014 to 39.4%. Diesels made up 25.0% of those licensed in 2014 and 30.2% in 2025.

Fiat Stilo fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Fiat Stilo from 2002 to 2006. On the NEDC test (listings 2002 to 2006), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 28.8 to 53.3 mpg, with CO2 of 139 to 233 g/km.

Engine power may be lost

Defect
It is possible that breakage of the ancillary devices pulley on the crankshaft may occur. Should this happen there is the possibility that engine power and functions such as power assisted steering and braking assistance may be lost.
Remedy
Recalled vehicles will have the crankshaft pulley inspected and changed should this be necessary.
