Not every Fiat Doblo is affected. Each recall covers cars built on particular dates or with
particular VINs, which DVSA’s file does not list in full. To check a specific car, use
GOV.UK’s vehicle recall check with its registration, or ask
the manufacturer or a dealer, who can check the VIN.

Remedy
Replacement of the manufacturer's label fitted to the vehicle and supply the customer with an addendum to the COC (Certificate of Conformity).

On affected vehicles diesel fuel leaks may possibly occur due to the vehicle being fitted with a fuel return pipe without protective tape. This could cause a potential deformation of the fuel return pipe and in extreme cases could lead to fuel leaks and the risk of fire in the engine compartment.

Defect
A connector on the brake servo pipe may fail and cause a loss of vacuum assistance necessitating the driver to include additional effort when braking.

Defect
The lower fastening brackets which secure the body to the chassis are not manufactured to specification. As a result the brackets may fail and render the body not fully secure.

Defect
It has been established that the anti-roll bar may not conform to specification. This should result in a noise from the suspension but in extreme cases vehicle stability could be compromised.

Defect
The manufacturer's plate information may refer to vehicles with a capacity of 8 hundred weight rather than 7 hundred weight.
Remedy

Possible loss of steering

Defect
There is a possibility that the weld on the steering shaft at the lower universal joint fitting maybe absent. If there is an absent of the weld at the joint this may lead to a loss of steering.
Remedy
Recall affected vehicles and inspect steering shaft to ensure weld is present if not renew steering shaft.

Unintended deployment of air bag

The electrical wiring loom may chafe on the steering column and cause the unintentional deployment of the drivers air bag.

Accelerator pedal concern

Defect
The accelerator pedal may foul on its travel limiting stop and prevent the engine from decellerating when the pedal is released.
