Fiat Barchetta fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Fiat Barchetta from 2000, when the data begins, to 2005. On the NEDC test (listings 2000 to 2005), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 33.6 to 37.2 mpg, with CO2 of 181 to 198 g/km.

A number of the subject vehicles have been fitted with seat belts manufactured by TRW the attachment systems of which may not remain secure in an accident situation.
Remedy
Recall the affected vehicles check the date of production on the seat belt buckles and replace those within the critical batch.
