How many Audi S6s are left in Great Britain?

There were 1,724 Audi S6s licensed in Great Britain at the end of March 2026, and a further 382 declared off the road (SORN). That is the most on the road at any year end since 1994.

Audi S6 engine sizes and fuel types

Of the 1,787 Audi S6s licensed in the UK at the end of 2025, 43.5% have an engine of 3,901cc to 4,000cc, and 30.1% have an engine of 2,901cc to 3,000cc. The share with an engine of 5,201cc to 5,300cc has fallen from 40.1% in 2014 to 10.0%. Petrols made up 99.0% of those licensed in 2014 and 59.3% in 2025.

Audi S6 fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Audi S6 from 2001, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2025 to 2026), official combined fuel economy for its diesel hybrid versions ranges from 38.7 to 39.8 mpg, with CO2 of 185 to 190 g/km; electric versions have an official range of 379 to 405 miles. On the older NEDC test (listings 2001 to 2010), official combined fuel economy for its petrol versions ranges from 19.5 to 22.4 mpg, with CO2 of 299 to 348 g/km.
