Audi Cabriolet MOT reliability

Audi Cabriolet fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Audi Cabriolet from 2002 to 2010. On the NEDC test (listings 2002 to 2010), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 24.8 to 44.1 mpg, with CO2 of 172 to 274 g/km.

Defect
On vehicles with 3-spoke steering wheel manufactured within a specific period the function of the driver airbag may be restricted due to its age.
Remedy
The gas generator in the driver airbag must be replaced on the affected vehicles.
