Not every Vauxhall Movano is affected. Each recall covers cars built on particular dates or with
particular VINs, which DVSA’s file does not list in full. To check a specific car, use

On affected vehicles the Body Control Module is not correctly configured to detect a failure in the indicator lamps. As a result if a turn indicator bulb fails it's not detected and the indicator warning does not activate.
Remedy
Update the vehicle configuration and the Secure Gateway Electronic Control Unit.

Defect
On affected vehicles the fuel pipe may chafe as a result of being in contact with the engine harness.
Remedy

Defect
on a certain number of Movano B - Model Year 16 and 17 with LWK or L0D engine there are some problems of the OBD (on Board Diagnostic) which should be indicated but do not trigger the MIL (Malfunction Indication Lamp). occurs Possible faults which should be indicated but do not trigger the MIL (Malfunction Indication Lamp). Under worst-case conditions the OBD would recognize a failure on Exhaust System components (e.g. components of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation EGR) but would not display the failure with a malfunction indicator lamp.
Remedy
Reprogram the K20 Engine Control Module via SPS with the latest software available on TIS2WEB:

Remedy

Diesel filter securing strap may break

Defect
An incorrect surface treatment on the fuel filter collar may lead to breakage of the diesel filter strap resulting in vibration and noise from the engine compartment. In the case of any mechanical pulses when driving with a broken strap or as a consequence of an accident this could result in breakage of the fuel pipes with subsequent leakage.
Remedy

Sideboard or tailboard may detach

Defect
It has been identified that the side board/tail board hinges may fail. This could result in the detachment of the side board whilst the vehicle is in motion.
Remedy

Defect
Affected vehicles may have been built with an incorrect crimping of the turbocharger oil feed pipe connector. This may cause oil leakage which may lead to odours smoke oil specks on the floor or engine failure. In the worst case a fire in the engine compartment could occur.

On affected vehicles replace the turbo charger oil feed pipe.

Loss of braking performance

Defect
The servo vacuum pump may fail causing a hard bake pedal loss of engine power and the vehicle may adopt limp home mode. A warning lamp may also illuminate.
It is possible that the rear wheel bearing has been damaged whilst it was assembled onto the stub axle. This should be identified by excessive noise however in the worst case if not detected it could result in bearing failure and the detachment of the wheel and hub.
Remedy
Recall all the affected vehicles and replace the wheel bearings with new items which will have protective sleeves to aid correct installation.

Spare wheel may become detached

Defect
The spare wheel carrier winch system may allow the spare wheel to be loosely installed after the customer has used the winch. In this condition the spare wheel might move during driving which may damage and eventually break the cable and guiding pin of the winch system. In this worst case the spare wheel would become detached from the vehicle.

Seat belt may not perform correctly

Rear axle may detach

Defect
There is a possibility that the brake servo valve may not function correctly resulting in loss of servo assistance to the braking system.
Remedy
