Mitsubishi Grandis fuel economy and CO2

The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Mitsubishi Grandis from 2005 to 2011. On the NEDC test (listings 2005 to 2011), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and diesel versions ranges from 28.2 to 42.8 mpg, with CO2 of 176 to 237 g/km.

Defect
Silicon grease applied to the brake light switch during production may penetrate the switch and insulate the contacts. This may prevent the stop lamps from operating and on vehicles with automatic transmission the shift lever cannot be moved from the park position.
