Defect
Due to changes in production some areas have uneven material and strength to improve the bonnets outer appearance. As a result if the vehicle impacts a pedestrian the risk of injury may be higher.
Remedy
Check the LOT number of the bonnet replace if in the affected range.

Kia PV5 Seat Belt Retaining Bolts

Defect
Front & 2nd row (left & right side) seat belt retaining bolts are not correctly fastened on some vehicles. If affected the seat belt restraint is compromised and there is a chance of an increase in passenger injury during a collision.
Remedy
Check all seat belt retaining bolts & apply the correct torque setting.

PV5 Front Shock Absorber Lower Bracket Welding - Safety Recall

Defect
Potential that the right-hand front shock absorber lower bracket welding may fail and the shock absorber becomes detached from the lower arm. This would cause the vehicle ride height to drop at the front right side.
Remedy
Check LOT number if within affected range replace shock absorber.
