How we use engine sizes.
Jaecoo 7 fuel economy and CO2
The Vehicle Certification Agency’s new car data lists the Jaecoo 7 from 2026, and still lists it. On the WLTP test (listings 2026), official combined fuel economy for its petrol and petrol hybrid versions ranges from 35.3 to 51.4 mpg, with CO2 of 125 to 182 g/km; plug-in hybrid versions are rated at 403.5 mpg (weighted).

Defect
On a specific batch of vehicles the drivers seat wiring harness may not have been routed correctly which over time may cause it to wear or become damaged. This may stop the seat adjustment working illuminate warning lights cause a loss of the ability to change gear and in rare cases lead to unexpected engine stalling while driving increasing the risk of a collision.
Remedy
Carry out the required inspection of the drivers seat wiring harness and inspect its condition. If necessary the wiring harness will be rerouted and any damage to the insulation repaired.
